Panther Prowl 2000...

...will take place Friday, July 14, 2000 until July 16, 2000.

It takes place at Holiday Inn Financial District in San Francisco, CA.

We have had well over 200 inquiries. As of today, we have 58 RSVP's. The hotel tells me that they have had 97 RSVP's for accommodations.

The weekend is for those who have attended YHS in the past. It focuses on those who attended in the 80's but welcomes ALL Panthers. This includes those who did not graduate from YHS.

The price for the weekend varies on when you RSVP. The earlier you RSVP, the less it costs (much like a plane ticket).

If you RVSP before February 28, 2000, the cost is $135.00 per person or $250.00 per couple.

If you RSVP between March 1, 2000 to April 30, 2000 the cost is $150.00 per person or $280.00 per couple.

If you RSVP between May 1, 2000 to May 31, 2000 the costs is $170.00 per person or $320.00 per couple.

If you RSVP between June 1, 2000 to June 30, 2000 the cost is $190.00 per person or $370.00 per couple (cashier's checks, money order and traveler's checks only after this date no personal checks will be accepted!).

THERE WILL BE NO WALK UPS PERMITTED YOU MUST RSVP!

To clarify why this is necessary: We have to give the hotel headcounts well in advance, we have to have the memory book printed, we have to have t-shirts printed. All this requires advance ordering. The longer we take, the more it costs which is why the price changes. I apologize to those who have made comments that this event is too expensive. I have put together events for over 6 years and the committee worked very hard to keep this event at a reasonable price.

The Package Includes the following:
Welcome Reception complete with complimentary bar and appetizers.

Pre Saturday Night Complimentary Cocktail Hour

Saturday Banquet (casual attire welcomed, but no t-shirts, jeans or shorts at banquet)

Panther Prowl 2000 Dance with Cash Bar and Complimentary Snacks (causal attire welcomed, but no t-shirts, jeans or shorts at dance)

Sunday Brunch

Panther Prowl 2000 Memory Book (which you will receive at registration!!!!)

Panther Prowl 2000 T-shirt (which you will receive at registration!!!!!)

Price does not include Hotel accommodations! Call Holiday Inn, Financial District for information 1.800.424.8292 rate is $149.00 a night for up to four persons in a room. Please mention that you are attending the Panther Prowl (YHS Reunion). Our goal is to secure at least two floors of a 28 floor hotel.

We are working on other activities such as a tour of San Francisco (which would be in addition to the price and would depend on turnout and/or interest) and a softball tournament of different classes on Sunday afternoon (again, depending on interest).

We also need your help. We are seeking pics in JPEG form of the Big 80's (other years are welcome as well) to be placed in the year book, particularly prom pictures, homecoming, sporting events, and high school activities. We also need volunteers to write for the memory book as we want the memory book to be a reflection of all of us (as much as possible).

To RSVP, you do not have to send in the entire fee, but you must pay a $60.00 deposit per person. The balance is due at registration (in cash, traveler's checks or money orders only) no personal checks permitted at registration. Personal checks are permitted to RSVP until May 31, 2000. Paid to the order of Darren D. Battle. Once your deposit is received, you will receive a confirmation as well as info including menu selection for the Saturday Banquet.
